Reset Group policy set by the Domain Active Directory

We had a local domain runs by a windows server 2003 Active Directory. Now our server has crashed workstation (running on windows XP) still operates on their own without the server. How can I reset the policies set by the server on the workstations local administrator for eg Users still cannot change their homepage and LAN settings etc

I really need some help here
