Restoring the backup from failure server (with RAID5)

I have two compaq ML370 systems with Raid5(compaq smart hardware raid array),
both are same configuration running with win2000 adv server .One server has been failed
in that oracle database is there ,i want get database backup,so can i out those drives
from failure server and put them into working server in same order does it works.
i will put server power off when am insert into disks working server .
