Retaining Wireless config with Group Policy

Hi,
Can anyone tell me if Windows XP PRO, SP2, will retain wireless settings when set to receive them automatically with the Wireless Network Policies Group Policy. If it doesn’t, does anyone know how to do it? (login script, etc…)
