I left my old company about 8 months ago to fill a position that had lots of promise or so I thought.I was to be joining a new team and working with new technology and was looking forward to learning alot. Something went wrong with the formation of the new team (weren’t able to find suitable candidate etc etc) and I’ve been ‘temporarily’ put in another team doing work that doesn’t really interest me.I have to concede, however that I have learnt during my time here, which probably would give me a more well-rounded skill base. I’ve also been told that I’ve been tagged to join the B.I team which excites me, but how do I know if this is going to happen, given the events I’ve just explained. My previous employer has contacted to enquire if I’d be interested in returning to my old position (since I left 2 others have come in and left). The position is quite stressfull and fast-paced, but in general I do have positive memories of working there. The place I’m at now has a mellow and relaxed vibe, but it’s poorly managed and at times feels directionless.
So my question is…should I go back…this has been weighing on my mind for the last few days and I would really appreciate any advice or input anybody may have!!!!
