RIP or not

Wrong, that is more a problem with closed source.
At least i believe the code is open and available.
I use compiz on Mandriva, And even If I tell my self that I need no unnecessary effects I still like it, and, yes Windows users “like” it too.
I do not know if the “RIP” is fair or not but I feel compiz and KDE should try to work this out together.
