RJ45: wallplate to connector cable

I now this may be considered basic, but…..

I need to connect a switch to a wallplate – ok, several wallplates :).

My point is:
To have a cat5 cable that has a connector in one end and a wallplate on the other end.

I followed the “A” combination described in the wallplate.
Now my question is.
What is the combination of the RJ45 connector. How can I get it right???

I have tried different cat5 combinations but none seemed to workout. What can I do?????

Can you give me a helpon this?
Or indicate where I can find information regarding this subject.
