Roaming profiles in Windows Vista

I’m trying to create a roaming profile for a windows vista user, I did the same steps I used to do for an XP account
the result is:
a new folder names (%username%.V2) is created when the user first logs on
problem is this folder stays empty.. no matter how many times the user logs on or off, the user can access the roaming folder on the server, but nothing is copied to it when he logs off
can anyone help with this problem?!!!
