Linksys WAG54G Wireless ADSL gateway.
Had trouble with my wireless network connecting to the internet which eventually turned out to be a faulty telephone cable (my dog ate it!). While trying to resolve the problem tried many different things including updating the firmware in the router. Used the old adsl modem for connection. When I discovered the fault was not my equipment reconnected the router.

My computer cannot detect being attached to it!
Have tried with a known working patch lead and a different computer.
Question is…
What is likely to be the problem and how do I fix it. I think its quite possible that I uploaded the wrong firmware update, if so how do I reset it or connect to it to correct the problem?
