Router setup – can’t see it

Hello – bought an old Cisco 2610 router, to mess with at home; ethernet and aux ports seem to work (light up when I plug in the crossover cable to connect to my Mac), but the console port doesn’t seem to connect properly (the RJ-45 doesn’t snap in, and no light when plugged in). I downloaded a trial version of PowerTerm for terminal emulation, but…I can’t seem to ‘find’ it. This should be simple…but I’m not getting it right! I’d appreciate any comments. Thanks, Patriccio
