Routers and problems.

Have a few Dlink routers and every 2-3 months I have to reset back to factory and reprogram completely. The problem shows up when inbound connections are for no apparent reason no longer working. For example a remote connection on port 8000 which worked for months just stops working. Reset to factory, reprogram and away it goes.
Just wondering if anyone else has had these symptoms.
