routing issues

Hi

i just got a laptop and wifi AP, the AP has been attached to my existing network. but now i have 2 subnets

1: 192.168.0.0 Wired – Allied Telesyn AT-AR256E
2: 192.168.1.0 Wifi – Linksys WRT54G2

i can ping from 2 to 1 but not 1 to 2, also if i try using a command like \\mypc\c$ it wont resolve the name and will only work with \\192.168.0.52\c$ for example.

network 1 has the internet connection on it.

the strange problem i have found is that i cant access download.microsoft.com or anything such as automatic updates.

anyone know what might be the cause?
