roxio NDetect.exe error

i am using the window xp operating system and have been using the roxio easy cd creator until recently it fails to work.when i try to use the software,an error msg appear saying :’exception in CreateInstanc of creator’.and an error msg which says Ndetect.exe error whenever its boot up
And the drive i am using is a combo drive
