Running NCF’s remotely

Is it possible to launch an NCF from a remote workstation? Through a command prompt, batch file or otherwise, on a Windows box? If so, what is the proper syntax. I need to stop Groupwise and Netshield prior to running a backup using the ArcServerNetware Agent.
