Running Server 2003 on GX280 – Driver ?

Hello all!

I’m working on my 2003 MCAA and I want to build a cheap server box. I work with Dell OptiPlex GX280s at my current office and want to purchase a referb from eBay to setup as a sever at home.

My concern is that if I install server on this PC the NIC won’t work. Will XP drivers work with Server 03? I checked Broadcom’s site and they do not have drivers for the NIC for server 03.

If the on board isn’t supported – my thoughts are that I would purchase a seperate NIC that had 03 support. Any thoughts on this issue or perhaps other concerns that may pop up trying to make this work?
