Running Windows 9x clients under Linux

I am a system administrator for a charity. They cannot afford a Windows NT server. I want to set up a Linux server. My question is, can all the windows applications, such as word, data-bases etc reside on, and be executed from the server when rquested by the Linux boxes? If so, how do install the Windows appplications on th Linux server box?
