Safe to delete XP Pro SP1 after SP2 installed?

While freeing up space on some computers, I noticed SP1.cab in the %windir%\Driver Cache\i386 folder. Is it safe to delete the SP1.cab after SP2 is installed?

Also, I noticed that the size of SP2 is different for each computer. Is this typical:
