Sample IT Infrastructure Survey?

Hi,

I have recently been given the task of obtaining IT infrastructure for clients out in the field, and wondred if there is or if anyone knows of sample questions that i can send out to sites.

I thought starting with Internet connectivity, On site IT assistance etc, but could use some ideas on some of the other ideas that may be useful.

The reason for this that we will be provideing web based training, and wanted to know what hardware/software they had in place ahead of this?

Can anyone help?
