samsung cdrw having problems

my samsung sw 208f does not accept disks from any brand cd except sony or samsung disks. I currently use adaptec cd creation program. If disks aren’t perfect condition, the program always errors out. Are there any drivers i can download to make these programs and hardware work properly? Should i change cd creation programs?
