samsung note 3 octa core or quad core

samsung galaxy note 3 comes with two different processors…
in india it is octa core and elsewhere it is quad core snapdragon 800 processor.
now i know snapdragon is better but what should i expect of the octacore version?
what will b the difference between the performance of the two cores?
