i am a computer science graduate engineer . i am interested in SAP Basis and ABAP certification or courses offered by oracle in ERP like 11i . now as i have realized that i need to have atleast 1-2 year experience in industry as a DBA for goin in for the 11i certification. the case is same for the SAP certifications i guess. the main question is at this stage what kinda technical skills do i need to have to get myself a job in a ERP consulting company and not a typical software development job which i already have on hand. how do I attain those skills .. will doin a oracle 10g certification help ? i’m also interested in encryption and digital signatures as i have already done a project in that. is that field as lucrative as ERP. i’m a lil confused abt this and will be happy if someone can help me knowin how do i go abt this and where do i start.
