SATA disk size recognition

I have purchased a new computer with a 250GB SATA disk. After that I installed there my old 120GB IDE disk.
However, when I started to format my new disk, I discovered that its size is recognized as 130GB only. I checked the disk part number and indeed the disk must be 250GB.

Any ideas?
