SATA or SCSI Drives for Windows 2003 SBS

I know SCSI drives have been traditionally associated with server storage, but what makes them so much better than SATA? The new SATA drives are just as fast and about half the price. We are getting ready to invest in a RAID setup for our SBS server and would like to know the benefits or one over the other.
