I have a office in another state that is currently running peer-to-peer. They are a subsidiary company, but completely managed by us. I’m finally getting a T1 hooked up and want to get them access to our domain with access to resources at our home office. I know of a number of ways to accomplish this, but I’d like input on what you guys think would be the best way.
Should I:
Keep them part of our Company.local domain with their server replicating with our current PDC
Put them on a Subsidiary.Company.local sub domain
Set them up an a new Subsidiary.local domain in our forest
Have them in their own forest
I try to live by the KISS principle, but since they technically are a different entity I think there should be some separation.
Thoughts?
