SBS 2000 on old hardware to SBS 2003 on new hardware

Hi to All,

I am new to the server world so please disregard my ignorance with regards to this issue.
I am trying to migrate from an old sbs 2000 server box to a new sbs 2003 server box using microsofts migration path. In their documentation they do not state when to dcpromo sbs 2003 server box, all they say to do is to fully install sbs 2003 software then transfer all the required data with the required tools (admt, exchange migration wizard, etc) then reconnect client computers. After doing this then dcpromo the old sbs 2000 server from the domain. I need to know if it is then possible to Dcpromo sbs 2003 after all the above is completed? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
