Sbs 2003 DHCP keeps stopping

I have SBS 2003 on VMware ESX 3i on a proliant ML350 G3 routing through a Linksys wireless router with the DHCP turned off on the router.

For some reason the SBS DHCP server keeps randomly stopping. Even when its on it gives the wrong configuration to clients. i have to manually put in the settings to be in my domain.

I have the scope set up how i want it. Router, wins server, gateway, etc. all set to SBS server except the gateway. Forwarder is set to ISP

TCP/IP config is set on the server to the loopback.

I’ve looked all over the internet trying to figure this out but to no avail. First post, i’ve read this place a long time, you guys always give correct answers.
