This is my first post with TechRepublic, and I hope someone can help me. I am not experienced with the configuration of SBS 2003 so I am looking for a step by step explanation.
I cannot access various pages on the virtual website and receive the following error message: “This Windows Sharepoint svc.s Virtual Server has not been configured for use with ASP.NET 2.0”. After research on the Microsoft website I find this solution: “open the cmd window and enter stsadm -o upgrade -forceupgrade -url http://URLOftheVirtualServer”. I made several attempts to no avail. I receive “C://stsadm command not recognized” within the cmd window. I am quite sure I am doing something wrong, but I cannot determine what it is. Can someone direct me to a solution that is geared more towards a newbie with server configuration? Any help would be tremendously appreciated! Thank you in advance for any help you can give!
