I purchased a new server box off Tiger Direct about a month back, and had to go through some pretty strenuous setup issues. Primarily, the existing network that was to be placed on the new server was royally botched (static IP’s forced through DHCP, a firewall that couldn’t handle as many IP’s as we had, no backups, and an OS partition that was gorged from being botched into a Software RAID configuration, etc…)
Upon setting up the new network, we had some hardware issues, and it never prompted for an F6 disk for RAID setup. As a result, I just assumed there would be a point between OS partitioning and final setup that would stripe the HDDs. Woops.
So, is there any way to install and run my Hardware RAID capabilities short of reinstalling the server?
