SBS 2003 – Server Error 401.3

I open Server management on the server. When I click “Monitoring and Reporting”, I get a 401.3 error. When I click Backup I get an error. All other options appear to be working.

The was working until an individula nade a couple of undocumented changes. Now it fails.

I went to the “To Do List” and execulted the “Configure Monitoring” After completing the wizard I go back and the Configure box is still unchecked.

I went through all of the folders on the server, and set the security to full-control I still get the same error.

Anyone have any thoughts or ideas on the subject. I looked and all kind of tech documents and nothing other than changing the security ever comes up in the articles.
