SBS Internet Connection Problem

by ricseb . Updated 17 years, 8 months ago

I have a SBS server/network, and I’m unable to get an internet connection. It is setup with a direct broadband connection with 2 NIC’s. I have the appropriate static IP addresses for the local and internet NIC’s. I’ve rebooted, run & rerun the IECW, and still no internet connection. It server was running fine for several days, then there was a service outage in my area for two days. I called my ISP & they had changed my static IP address. I entered the new one for the internet NIC, then ran the IECW again, but am still unable to connect. When I connect a workstation set to recieve a dynamic ip & run ipconfig /all at a command prompt, this is what I get:

IP Address: 98.164.79.159
Subnet Mask: 255.255.248.0
Gateway: 98.164.72.1
DHCP Server: 172.19.49.19
DNS1: 68.105.28.11
DNS2: 68.105.29.11

I’ve tried everything I can think of and I’ve got people waiting on the network as you can imagine. Plus, I’m leaving to go out of town tomorrow and can’t remote in to correct problems while I’m gone with no internet connection. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
