SBS on new hardware…

I have replaced an old server running SBS 2003 with a new server running the same OS. I don’t want to migrate AD or Exchange. I want a clean server, no migrated issues.

When I put the new server online, will I loose emails on the workstations? I would imagine the emails are local to the workstations, and when I put the new server online, new emails from Exchange will go to their respective destinations. I only have about 10 users on the domain.
