Scan documents to my new file server.

I have a Win 2003 Server 64bit and it is a domain controller but also acts as my file server. I am trying to set up my network scanner to scan documents to a file on this file server. (The process works to another server WIN2K server). Any ideas on where I should look? I am thinking maybe there is something in my new 2003 server that is blocking this but I am not sure where to begin looking.
