SCANMAKER 3600 (NO COLOR)

i have recently bought the Scanmaker 3600.I have windows XP professional. Windows find the device and the scanner works fine except from the fact that i can’t scan coloured pages.
i am university student and i need that scanner.
Please tell me what to do.
*i tried and changed the colour management.Put it in all color profiles but nothing changed.
I DOWNLOAD THE NEW SOFTWARE FOR THAT DEVICE AND STILL NO COLOR
