Scanner access permissions issue?

On a Win NT SP-6, when I install a scanner (TWAIN) on a PC, the PC will only let the user under whose login I was logged in and installed the scanner, to use it. All other users, can’t use see the scanner or use it. We’re operating in a multi-user environment. Thanks
