Scanning Event Viewer 4 Specific Errors

I need a utility to monitor and report specific errors found within Event Viewer and then send out an administrative alert.
(as in when a FTdisk Fails)

EVNTSCAN.EXE found within the resouce kit for Backoffice will do it. However, I do not want to buy a RS-Kit for one utility

Anyone have evntscan or like utility?
