I have a very old Novell 4.11 server that is running Norton Antivirus for Netware 4.04. When I first installed the product on the novell server it had a utility for windows 95 that helped you configure the paramaters for the scanner as well as schedule scans. This server is still heavily used, but because of its age I need to stop the scheduled scans as it is taking up too many resources. I don’t have the utility anymore and can’t see where I can configure these options. Symantec’s solutionwas to uninstall it and install a newer version that comes with my corporate package, but since this server is going away within the next 6 months I don’t want to install anything new that might use more resources. The scheduled scan interfered with a couple important user processes the last time so I still want to stop it before the server is removed.
