Sco Unix and Okidata 395(Serial)

I’ve connected the Okidata 395, serial printer, to a SCO Unix server thru a Dialogic port. The problem is that it will print fine for about 3/4 pages and then start loosing characters. Any information to solve this problem will be greatly appreciated…
