Screen Saver – password twice

I have noticed for the last couple of weeks when my screen saver activates and I type the password it does not take. I some times have to type the password 2-3 times before it takes. Other times it will take the first time.

Why am I having to type the passord so many times? (No, I am not typing the wrong password.)

I am using Windows 95 (rev C), Office 97, “3D Text” screen saver (Windows standard).
