Search Companion Pegs Explorer.exe to 99%

Dear TechRepublic,

I love this site.
Hey, I just got a new computer, and the Search Companion pegs my Explorer.exe to 99%. It started doing this after I got Windows XP on my last computer. I believe that it has something to do with Active Directory, and the fact that Search Companion keeps searching even after it has delivered its initial results. It behaves this way whether Indexing is turned on or not.
