Since the topic came about within the security issue.We all know that security is the number one investment in any or all countries.But,what measures do we take to really establish the right security for us.Your security teams,what type of security clearance have you established to make sure that they are okay(i.e.,if they have ever been in trouble within the company,smell of alcohol,drug use,do they know or can recite any or all of they policies to the company,do they talk of anything to anyone at the company or at home with family members, that can harm the company,etc.)?These things are important to know.Do you have any countermeasures if you have a member that has gone bad? Some things need to be really thought out. I work in a military prison also,I have worked with prisoners that have been convicted for all types of crimes.But,I asked this one inmate about his crime (Espionage),how did he get so much info to give to another country.The answered really surprised me….People werethrowing away classified info in regular trash cans and they were always discussing important info,any and everywhere.
And to stop a hacker,hire one to fight the other hackers.If you are paying so much for countermeasures to stop them,get one ofcheaper means.Save money. To catch a criminal,you have to be or act as a criminal, to catch him or her.Sometime you will have to watch your own people to make sure that the missions/jobs are getting done.
