Self Created SSL certificate

Hello, I have used a guide to create ssl certificate using openssh and perl and successfully managed to make IIS server to listen to HTTPS requests. My next target is to set the server ask for client’s certificate in order for client to authenticate itself to the server. I have set the server to ask for client’s certificate but I can’t manage to get the client authenticated, in fact I should say that I have no clue how to do it. I’ll appreciate your help.
