Self-Study concerning networking…

Thanks in advance for any help.

I’m trying to find a program I can download (of course, free would be appreciated) where I can learn and practice my networking skills (or any other skills for that matter). From basic things to expert level if possible. I was thinking flash or html based.

I’ve tried looking on the web but only found things that would cost an arm & a leg.
