Sendmail configuration or RedHat7.0

Hi!! Can anyone tell me how do I configure sendmail on RedHat7.0 I followed one old sendmail howto but its not worth. My pop3 service is not getting up and how to configure smtp relay. Please give me a brief on how to configure and trobleshoot sendmail.
