Server 2003

Setting up a active directory domain at home:
– Linksys router (that acts as dhcp)
– External isp
– One Windows server 2003, as a domain controller and dns server.

I’ve set up a domain, dns server but it takes a long time to log on to the domain. I believe it’s a problem with dns, but what should I be doing with a router and isp?
