Server 2003 Cannot Loggoff RDP Session

Hello,

I am having trouble with a 2003 Windows Server (standard). I RDP into the server connect fine. However, when I go to logoff through the taskbar. The system does not respond. I then try start – shutdown – (drop menu) logoff and the system does not respond. The only way I can end the session is by going to start – run – taskmgr.exe then click on user tab and logoff user there.

Has anyone run into this problem? I can shutdown the system fine and restart through RDP. But I can’t loggoff my session.

Also, the Event log is not showing any errors.
