server attached to domain doesnt see new security group (win2k)

Hey,

I’ve just created a new security group to an existing ou which i want to assign read/write access to a server attached to the domain. the issue I’m having is that I’m not able to see the new group on the server that I want to assign resources to. Is there a way to force the server to update it’s directory that will include the new security group?

The server is able to see all the other users and groups, just not this one. I assume it has to do with replication but I can’t find anything on the net about forcing the update.
The server I’m assigning resources to is not a domain controller.
