server help

hello please help me to manage a server..

this is my first work and my first task is to manage winXP 2003 server.my problem is i dont know whats the first thing to do…i have 6 computers including the server all are winXP.must havce 5 departments(hr,accounts.admin….etc).

please please please help me to make my server organize and secured…
