I have been involved in IT for 4 years now and have gotten a contract for installing and configuring the following in a long-time friend’s growing business. Please advise on the following.
What is the cost you would invoice?
I have completed the following list:
configuration of server2k3 Enterprise:
domain controller, active directory data input for 14 employees, creation of three global security groups for permissions, IIS configuration for FTP and mail server, mail server creation and configuration for the DNS record created so I could have the csr generated and approved for the SSL to be mailed to me by Geotrust at the mail account that did not exist before I created it, installation of microsoft virtual server and configuration for 3 virtual servers–1 file server with mapped drives on all employees computers, 1 web server for secure webforms, and 1 database server holding SQL, and installation of the SSL.
Before the initial install and config of this I tested the production enviornment in my office on my machines.
How much would be a proper invoice?
