Servers and Email

We are moving to on-line registration and part of that function is to send an e-mail to the end user at the completion of a purchase. We have a win 2003 serve and operate without an exchange. We are having difficulty getting the e-mail function to work and have been told by our software company that the email is going to a “bad” mail box c:\inetpub.

Can anyone help
