Service Pack 3 for SQL Server Database

One of our techs “installed” this and it failed on a server at a remote location. Now every time the server reboots it is running a chkdsk. Has anybody ever seen this?

We are thinking about trying to reinstall the service pack to see if it will complete successfully.

The SP shows up in add and remove programs, and doesn’t have a remove option. So my thoughts are that it installed the majority of the code but left something out causing it issues.
