Seting Up a WAN for the enterprise

I have many questions. Important is:
1. How can I overcome communication restrictions while optical fiber is impossible and sattelite is possible but expensive, and one node of the office stays at the jungle (200 miles appart).
2. How many serversof its type, to install: 70 people Cia, (energy generation).
3. Security concerns over intra/extra net
